Join us in celebrating the legacy of the great Black Caviar. Don’t miss the excitement on the track with some of the world’s fastest horses racing in the $1,000,000 Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning (1000m), named after the legendary mare whose stellar career consisted of 25 undefeated races.
Off the track there’s so much to look forward to with the return of the Front Lawn Beer Garden, food truck eats and live music on the Front Lawn all day long and a headline DJ set with Sgt Slick for those wanting to enjoy the day well after the last.
Looking for somewhere to bring the kids? Enjoy the family friendly fun on the Flemington Family Lawn, in The Elms. A place where you can relax in comfort, enjoy the racing and watch the kids enjoying all that the family lawn has to offer, from fun-filled games, pony rides and face painting.
Join us for our “Happy Hour” for the first hour from gates open for Black Caviar Lightning Race Day. All drinks (by the glass) are half price from all retail venues across course.
Plus with extended hours and live musical entertainment after the last, racegoers can enjoy the festivities of the day long after the last, on the Front Lawn Beer Garden, and for members in the G.H. Mumm Champagne Bar and The Roof Garden.
