The international brigade heading to Australia for the Melbourne Cup Carnival just got stronger with Deauville Legend roaring into Lexus Melbourne Cup contention with a dominant win in the Great Voltigeur at York overnight.
Trainer James Ferguson says he is the perfect Cup horse and will now be set for our greatest race. Ferguson also has the third-placed horse El Bodegon heading to Australia to contest the Cox Plate.
