Popular chef, restaurateur, and television personality Curtis Stone OAM will bring his expertise and creative flair with two venues at the Melbourne Cup Carnival Birdcage Enclosure this year. Lucky’s will be an experience that promises to be unlike any other.

Curtis Stone Events is the innovative events arm of Curtis Stone OAM and is known for delivering unique and memorable experiences, combining culinary excellence with creative event design.

Set in the heart of The Birdcage, up high with all the excitement of the Melbourne Cup Carnival laid out in front of you is where you will find Lucky’s, a corporate hospitality experience within the Birdcage, full of fun and excitement.  

Lucky’s will pay tribute to the traditions of horse racing, offering delectable all-day grazing perfect for sharing, and is expertly paired with an inventive drinks menu.

With a capacity to accommodate up to 250 guests daily, Lucky’s promises to create an unforgettable experience for racegoers, setting new benchmarks for hospitality and elevating the overall guest experience within the Birdcage Enclosure.

VRC Chief Executive Officer Steve Rosich expressed his pleasure in partnering with the Australian-born chef and his Melbourne-based events arm.

“This collaboration brings together the finest culinary expertise and event management, introducing a fresh perspective on hospitality and guest experiences to the Melbourne Cup Carnival and the renowned Birdcage,” said Rosich.

Stone himself shared his excitement about the exclusive partnership, stating, “I am truly excited to be partnering with the Victoria Racing Club in the exclusive Birdcage Enclosure at Flemington for Cup Week. The 2023 Melbourne Cup Carnival begins on Saturday 4 November with Penfolds Victoria Derby Day, followed by Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday 7 November, Kennedy Oaks Day on Thursday 9 November, and concludes with TAB Champions Stakes Day on Saturday 11 November.
