Stawell trainer Andrew Bobbin had a day to remember with Ocean Beyond taking out the listed Hilton Nicholas Straight Six to give him his first winner at Flemington.
Ridden brilliantly by Linda Meech, Ocean Beyond stormed home at 26-1 in the third heat of the Santa Ana Lane Sprint Series.
