Racing consistently at black-type level, it was not until this round of outings that Anthony and co-trainer son Sam seemed to, in their minds, get it right.
"We liked her from day one but she just wasn't doing it and we were probably training her wrong," Anthony said.
"To Sam's credit, he's turned this mare around."
Now with three wins in four starts at Flemington, sticking to what is proving to be a successful formula is just what the training pair are keen to maintain.
"She is obviously great up the straight and a bigger field will suit her, too," he added.
"If she can get into one of those big sprints, she could potentially do some damage right down in the weights.
"She's got into the winning habit now and obviously the races down the straight have really opened doors for her."
