An afternoon of Rapid Racing at Flemington – as we celebrated Christmas and the end-of-the-year with friends, family and colleagues.
The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, but the action is fast. Seven sprints down the famous Flemington straight with a quick 30-minute gap between races. A lovely summer evening, with Katsu crowned the winner of the feature Listed Kensington Stakes.

Guess the Fastest Speed in km/h in races 4-7 and you could win one of four golf or dining experiences!
Fastest speed is determined as the fastest average speed across a 200m sectional in km/h by any horse down the Flemington Straight. It's easy to enter. Actually it's SUPER FAST.
You must be in attendance to enter – so head to Flemington Racecourse on Wednesday 20 December to join in the fun!
Join the festive fun at Santa’s Garden on the Flemington Family Lawn. Plus, Phar Lap Club Members can create a special bag of reindeer food with Mrs. Claus to take home and for their garden on Christmas Eve!

Head down to the Flemington Family Lawn this summer for an array of games, crafts and activities for the kids to enjoy and a Mr. Whippy van selling delicious ice creams.
Enjoy $5 fries and $5 large pies across retail outlets. Festive gingerbread cookies will be on sale in The Bakery and Saintly Place.
The air-conditioned sports bar comes alive with bar sports, betting facilities, live racing on the TVs, refreshing drinks and takeaway food. Settle in or grab a drink – there’s also seating in the Beer Garden at the top of the steps over The Front Lawn.
The Punters Club will be open in Saintly Place Sports Bar for everyone to enjoy! Add an extra thrill to the afternoon as the guest tipster brings the insights and hopefully a profit from the collective kitty. Entry is $10.
