The VRC welcomed country racing participants, owners and members to Flemington Racecourse.

The Listed A.R. Creswick Stakes (1200m) saw the best emerging three-year-old sprinters gather for a dash up the famous Flemington straight, won by Group 1-winning sprinters Nature Strip and Gytrash in recent years.

The support program featured heats of the Flemington Finals Series including The David Bourke (1600m), Heat 7 of the VRC CRV Winter Championship Series.
