The VRC Full Member Tenure Recognition Program was launched in the 2024/25 racing season to celebrate and recognise VRC Full Members, including Pre79 and Life Members for their loyalty of the Club.

This program will honour full members through a series of exclusive privileges tailored to significant milestone years. These privileges are in addition to the current entitlements, events, race day experiences, competitions, and offers already available as part of VRC Membership.

Developed from insights gathered by the 2023/24 Member Advisory Group, the program is our way of acknowledging full members for their continued and unwavering support of the Club.

Milestone Privileges

To commemorate significant years of membership, VRC Full, Pre79, and Life Members will receive exclusive privileges in their milestone years.

In the inaugural year of the program, we will be acknowledging all VRC Full, Pre79, and Life members for their years of loyalty, from 1 year through to 50 plus years, with the privileges as outlined in the table below.

In future seasons, Full Members celebrating the following significant milestone anniversaries - 1, 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50 years of full membership - will receive privileges corresponding to their milestones.

All VRC Full members will have the opportunity to win exclusive experiences throughout the season, including race day experiences, prize draws, and more.

Long tenured member event

Long tenured member event

VRC Full Members with 30 or more years of membership will be invited to an exclusive event—a celebration of appreciation featuring a day of entertainment and camaraderie.

More information on this event will be communicated to eligible members in early 2025.

Milestone medallions

Milestone medallions

VRC Full Members celebrating 10 or more years of full membership will be eligible to receive a 10-year, 20-year, 30-year, 40-year, or 50-year medallion to commemorate their membership tenure.

Medallions will be available for collection from the Bernborough Bar (located in the Betting Ring) on all race days from Black Caviar Lightning Stakes Day, Saturday 15 February, onwards.

All eligible members will receive an email with details on the collection process.

All full members will be notified upon renewing their membership of the benefits they are eligible to receive in the 2024/25 racing season.

Only Full Members (including Pre79 and Life members) will receive tenure recognition privileges based on their years of tenure.
