The Park entertainment lineup announced

The Victoria Racing Club (VRC) is thrilled to unveil The Park’s spectacular entertainment lineup, set to elevate this year’s racing festivities with an extraordinary array of global and local music icons.

Penfolds Victoria Derby Day will feature a sensational performance by renowned American artist Anastacia, marking her only Australian appearance. Known for her powerful voice and chart-topping hits including I’m Outta Love and Left Outside Alone, Anastacia will bring her dynamic energy to The Park Live Stage after the running of the Group 1 Penfolds Derby. She will be supported by Dutch DJ Sam Feldt, best known for his innovative electronic music including his multi-platinum selling remix of Show Me Love and collaborations with the world’s most prominent pop artists like Rita Ora, Post Malone, Kesha and Tones And I.

On Lexus Melbourne Cup Day, racegoers can revel in the electrifying beats of Empire of the Sun’s DJ Set, with the Australian electronic act promising an unforgettable headline performance including smash hit Walking on a Dream after the race that stops a nation®. British star Sophie Ellis-Bextor will support with her iconic early-2000s hit Murder on the Dancefloor, which had a renaissance last year after it was featured in the much-talked about film Saltburn.

Crown Oaks Day is set to be a highlight with a headline performance by Irish superstar Ronan Keating. The singer-songwriter found fame in 90s boyband Boyzone and has had a string of worldwide hits including Life Is A Rollercoaster and When You Say Nothing At All. As a solo artist, Keating has sold more than 20 million records worldwide alongside the 25 million records with Boyzone. Multi-platinum selling ARIA nominated singer and songwriter Ricki-Lee will also take to the stage in The Park on Crown Oaks Day. Her latest album On My Own hit #1 on the ARIA Album Chart and features two #1 singles On My Own and Ghost.

Rounding off the week, TAB Champions Stakes Day will be headlined by The Temper Trap, the acclaimed Australian band known for their infectious rhythms and anthems including Sweet Disposition which achieved 5 x Platinum sales in Australia, 3 x Platinum sales in the UK and Platinum sales in the US and more than 500 million streams on Spotify alone. They will be supported by the soulful Mia Wray, who is no stranger to the live arena, having sold out numerous headline shows and previously opening for superstars Maisie Peters, Vance Joy and DMA’S.

VRC Chief Executive Officer Kylie Rogers said The Park lineup was sure to delight event goers of all ages.

“Regarded as the world’s most vibrant horse racing event, the Melbourne Cup Carnival is a uniquely Australian celebration of sport, fashion, food, culture and entertainment, The Park is the perfect example of this,” Ms Rogers said.

“The Park will be the place for live music this November. With an exceptional lineup of local and international acts curated with the support of the Mushroom Group, all for the price of a general admission ticket, it’s set to be a spectacular Cup Week.”

Mushroom Group Chief Executive Matt Gudinski said he was pleased to support live music at Flemington.

“The Melbourne Cup Carnival is always a highlight of the year, and we're thrilled to once again partner with the VRC to deliver an exceptional line-up of international and Australian artists for The Park,” Mr Gudinski said.

“Mushroom has long been a proud supporter of the VRC, and it's great to see this iconic event continue to embrace live music.”

The Melbourne Cup Carnival offers unmatched value, with general admission tickets starting at $65, which includes access to The Park, world-class racing, food and entertainment.

The 2024 Melbourne Cup Carnival begins with Penfolds Victoria Derby Day on Saturday 2 November, followed by Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday 5 November, Crown Oaks Day on Thursday 7 November and TAB Champions Stakes Day on Saturday 9 November.
