Black Caviar at Royal Ascot

The Black Caviar Lightning Stakes is named after our greatest sprinter of all time.

The great mare won 25 straight, including an assault on Royal Ascot where she took on the world's best.

Some of our greatest sprinters have completed the Lightning/Royal Ascot winning double, including Choisir, Takeover Target, Scenic Blast and Miss Andretti, as well as Black Caviar.

And this year, Nature Strip is out to add his name to the dual hemisphere honour role.

Let's look back on the incredible winning history for Aussie sprinters that is shared between the Lightning and Royal Ascot.
